Welcome to KEKO SHITORYU KARATE

Hi everyone and welcome to the first KEKO newsletter as you can see, We know have our new logo above, looking very smart and ready for training

We now have an official opening date the 18th of November 2017. It will be opened by one of our students Lilly Harrison. Lilly was one of the unfortunate victims of the Manchester arena bombing, but she is recovering well and has restarted training with us, we hope to see a large press call at the opening with lily cutting the ribbon for us. Please put the date in your diary as we would love for you all to have your picture in the paper and you may even be on Granada tv. This is a great opportunity for every student to show off their new club.

New badges are now being produced and every student who is currently training with us, and will receive a badge free of charge from Paul to put onto your GI for the official opening. Anyone who starts training after this date will have to pay a small fee for the badge.

KATA Course.
The next Kata course will be Tamari Bassi Sunday 19th and 26th November 1.00-5.00pm this is a great kata to learn as many of the students know bassai dal this is the next stage up. The Kata will be split over two consecutive Sundays 4 hours for each session. The reason for this is Paul isnow teaching more in-depth-karate and we feel that this is a much better way to learn rather than all crammed and rushed into a normal 3 hour session. Both lessons cost £10 each day which is great value for money. If you want to attend the course either write your name on the board just to the right of Pauls office in the Dojo, let Paul know directly or, email or text.
We are going to run Kata courses every two months with the inclusion of jkf and Bunkia training.

That's it for now, remember if you see anyone who used to train with Paul or anyone who would like to join us please let them know about the new Dojo.

Many Thanks
Mark J.
